"Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time."
― Thomas Merton―
“If art is the bridge between what you see in your mind and what the world sees, then skill is how you build that bridge.”

I am a dancer, singer, and writer with a strong passion for and commitment to creative expression through interdisciplinary work that transcends borders. Trained in Bharatanatyam (South Indian Classical Dance), Carnatic (South Indian Classical) Music, and Western Classical Music, I have performed at various events and festivals in the US, UK, Mexico, India, Zambia, Indonesia, and Greece. I have participated in music and dance workshops with gurus, such as Maneesha Sathe, Narendra and Anusha Kumar, R. Vedavalli, Dhananjayans, Late Professor T.R. Subramaniam, Priyadarshini Govind, Late M.V. Narasimhachari, R. Ramamurthy, The Kirans, M. Venkata Krishnan, and N. Srikanth. Additionally, I have been a member of several teams and group ensembles, including Jayamangala Dance Company, UMD Moksha, Samsara Alumni Dance Team, and Nava Dance Theatre.
My work as an artist integrates various styles of choreographed and improvisational dance and movement with music, spoken word, and narrative storytelling into a contemporary mishran or melange representative of my identity and experiences as a global citizen of Indian origin. Through my creative expression, I explore and navigate fluctuating aspects of human experience within and across time, space, and culture.
